Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are running a 3-day fall sale through August 27, 2026.
If you already have a Hawaii trip in mind for this fall, it’s worth checking your dates.
Check the current Hawaii flight sale
What dates are included?
The sale covers travel from September 14 through December 15, 2026.
A few restrictions to know before you book:
- Purchase by August 27 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific
- Book at least 21 days before travel
- Eligible travel days are Sunday through Wednesday
- Blackout dates: October 8 through October 12
- Blackout dates: November 20 through November 22
Not every route qualifies, and availability can change. If your dates work, it’s worth checking sooner rather than later.
Is this sale worth checking?
If a Hawaii trip is already on your radar for fall, yes.
Even if you’re not ready to book today, checking now gives you a real reference point. I do this when I’m planning trips anyway. Watching fares for a few weeks helps you recognize when a price is actually good versus just “sale-sounding.”
That said, a cheap flight isn’t a deal if you have to rearrange your whole trip to get it. Check your dates first. If they line up, great.
What to look at before you book
Don’t just look at the fare number.
Before you commit, compare:
- Your exact travel dates
- Airports near you (sometimes a nearby city saves money)
- Which Hawaii airport you’re flying into
- Departure and arrival times
- Baggage fees
- Fare restrictions
- Cancellation and change rules
The lowest advertised fare may not be available on your specific route or dates.
Check both airlines
Fares vary. If your fall dates are flexible at all, it’s worth checking both before you assume one is better for your trip.
The sale ends Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
If the timing works for a trip you were already considering, it’s worth checking. If it doesn’t, don’t force your plans around the sale.
